Portfolio Organization

How is this portfolio organized?

There are several ways to navigate my portfolio. Static content, such as my resume, is available as a page link at the top of the navigation bar. The domains for my content are listed on the sidebar, under “categories.” This will show you blog posts that correspond to artifacts for each of the portfolio domains I am required to present.

You may also wish to view my artifacts in a sequence: based on when they were added to my portfolio. Since blogs are organized in reverse chronological order, start on the blog home page and work backwards through time.

You can also use the search to find specific artifacts.

Why are you using a blog as a portfolio?

Blogs make adding content to the Web simple! Beyond that, this blog allows me to maintain an interactive portfolio which can be enhanced through comments and trackbacks. If you would like to comment on one of my artifacts, feel free to, where I allow comments. You can also trackback to an individual post and link your content to mine!

I believe in the spirit of the open Web, and that teachers should share their ideas and accomplishments with one another. I hope this interactive portfolio serves such as purpose.

Can I use your stuff?

Some of the content in this blog is owned (copyright) by my school division, Goochland County Public Schools. Other content is copyright by me! Please ask permission before you take/re-use something; I’m very willing to share.

Thanks!
